PROGRAMS AND SERVICES

In order to fulfil our mission, the Nebraska Kidney Association provides programs and services throughout the state to help prevent or prolong the onset of kidney disease as well as helping those already affected by the disease.

The following are just a few of the programs and services provided by the Nebraska Kidney Association for kidney and transplant patients and their families:

Program&Services

Who Qualifies for Kidney Programs & Services?
We provide information and education to the general public, professional
community and those impacted by kidney disease or organ donation. 

Kidney and Transplant patients are eligible for FREE medic alert jewelry.  All requests for emergency financial assistance must be presented by the patient's social worker.


Did You Know?
In the school year 2010-2011, over 464 students in the state of Nebraska were educated through the Nebraska Kidney Association’s Kidney Health Education Program (KHEP)
