The Nebraska Kidney Association's, Walk Across Nebraska is a non-competitive walk focusing primarily on the education and prevention of kidney and urinary tract disease and, secondarily, awareness of the need for organ donation.
In addition, Kidney Walks present an occasion for dialysis patients, organ transplant recipients, organ donor families, the medical community and the general public to "Go the Distance", celebrate life, create lasting community advocacy and long term support for the association.
While raising funds for the Nebraska Kidney Association's programs and services, the Kidney Walks provides an opportunity for family, friends and colleagues to participate in an inspiring, community-based event.
WALKERS WILL RECEIVE A T-SHIRT FOR A MINIMUM OF $30.00 AND FOR THOSE RAISING $MORE$ THERE ARE OTHER INCENTIVE PRIZES.
