The Liberty Mutual Invitational is the #1 Charity Golf Event in the United States. Each year, thousands of golfers from across the nation participate - not just for the excitement, excellent gifts and great prizes - to benefit a number of worthy causes. Here in Nebraska, our event benefits the Nebraska Kidney Association. Proceeds are used to help Nebraskans suffering from kidney disease or waiting for a life-saving transplant. The format offers opportunities for golfers at all levels to enjoy the game and benefit a local non-profit organization. Plans for the 2010 Nebraska-wide Liberty Mutual (formerly the Cadillac) Invitational Tournament are under way.
Congratulations to the 2009 championship team from Security National Bank for winning the competitive level. This team will be invited to the finals at TPC Sawgrass in Jacksonville, Florida in January of 2010.
Thanks to Mr. Keith Powell, who has agreed to chair the 2010 event to be held Friday, April 30th at Quarry Oaks.
